Barcelona stole my heart.
A year ago, my friend and I had an art-filled day in Barcelona. First, we visited the Joan Miró museum on Montjuïc. Unfortunately, our exploration of Montjuïc was cut short when a bird shat on our heads, but, after cleaning up, we spent the afternoon at the Museu Picasso.
A year ago today, we accidently overslept and then spent our afternoon at the Camp Nou/FC Barcelona Museum, which was basically a religious pilgrimage for me.
A year ago today we arrived in Barcelona after a long, cold, uncomfortable ride on the overnight train from Madrid. On our first day there, we explored La Rambla and the Barri Gòtic.
Més que un club!

Hoy el FC Barcelona ganó su tercera Supercopa de España consecutiva contra su gran rival, el real Madrid, gracias a la magia del genio (¿y extraterrestre?)Lionel Messi. También fue el gran regreso/debut de Cesc Fàbregas después de ocho años en Londres. Oh, y el bellísimo Pep Guardiola igualó al legendario Johan Cruyff como el técnico con más títulos en la historia del Barça (11).
He extrañado la temporada de fútbol :)
